Digital Cameras Holidays Tips

Digital cameras are so busy during these happiness holidays, how to avoid your camera “strike” is a important thing for the one who don’t use camera for a long term.This is my post from my Blog: Digital Cameras After Holidays.
You digital cameras should have done lots of work during your happiness holiday. And I had found that, there are several problem about digital cameras asked by users online for so many times.
For many common users as me, don’t use the camera most often. And only pick it up at holidays or there is a trip. And at the most important moment the camera’s “strike” will cause lots of troubles.
So today, I’d like to share some useful idea about the common problems with you all.
Fist, this is about the the digital camera display that “turn power off and on again“, and as you have to do as it suggested, the same message will appear again.
This problem is most common on some model of Sony’s digital camera, and I had post a post about it before in my blog.
The other problem is about the digital camera SD card is clocked.
If you meet this problem, the first thing is to check out that, the lock switch is off. If this switch will solve your problem, you are very luck, else, the problem will be a little trouble.
If you have try several cards on your camera or computer, and show all are locked, the problem will be on your camera or computer.
If its for your camera, you should to change a card slot; if it’s for your computer, there maybe miss of a software drive in the CD comes with your camera, or something wrong with your card reader. For this situation, change a card read will solve the problem, and I have a suggest that use card reader instead of connect the camera to computer to avoid the problems about camera and computer.
And there is a very similar question is that alway some users find that their computer can’t recognize camera, or has recognized but there was nothing can be seen. Usually this problem won’t found out in Win7 system, but for the other, you often need to install the driver softer ware on the CD which comes with your camera before you what to load the pictures to your computer. Or you can use a card reader for conveniently, it needn’t a driver and can be used directly.
And the third question asked for many time is some pictures can’t be read by camera, and display “format error”. For my experience this problem should appear after you have watch your picture on your computer and then some picture will be “miss” when your see it on the LCD of your camera. This problem doesn’t matter, and your pictures have miss, you may have edit the picture on your PC, as you have a flipping of it. And the camera system is so different form the PC system, and the camera can’t realize the pictures edited by the PC. You also can saw these pictures on your computer.
Then there is a common question, often some users asked that,why their camera battery won’t be charged when they connect it to PC. Here I’d like to say that, not all the cameras will charge the battery when you connect it to PC by the USB cable. For some model of cameras you have to use a USB communication transformer most like MP3/MP4/Mobile USB Power Adapter to connect your camera and PC together and the battery will be charge, some of these cameras comes withe this USB communication transformer, but some not.

Digital Photography Multiple Exposures

Digital Photography is one of the most creative hobbies you can partake in. And sometimes we reach a stage of evolution in our digital photography whereby we want another challenge, or another way to express our creativity. And, undoubtedly, along your digital photography path, you’ll come across a technique called “Multiple Exposures.”
Multiple Exposures is a technique in digital photography whereby you can create a really ingenious effect. You can add colour, darken images, shade whiter areas, change shapes via light alterations etc. It’s really a fun digital photography technique and can give you much scope. For example in digital photography sometimes you will find that noise can interfere with picture quality and with this technique you can tone down the effect of noise.
An example of multiple exposures is taking two digital photography images and each of them to be exposed by one F stop. For example, let’s say that the first digital photos ‘correct’ exposure is F 16. You can take the first photo at F11 and the second one at F 8.
However not all digital cameras offer the ability to create multiple exposures. The digital cameras that can offer multiple exposures are dslr’s such as Fujifilm FinePix S1 Pro and S2 Pro. Can you create multiple exposures without having more expense of a camera in your digital photography? Good news; the answer is yes.
This is where Photoshop comes in. By adjusting a few things in Photoshop, your digital photography images can become more and more interesting. In Photoshop you can actually create the most beautiful multiple exposures.
One of the first things to do to try this digital photography technique is to make sure you have the right exposure compensation. I won’t go into complicated scientific jargon (light is pretty complicated at a base scientific technique) but what I will say is it’s a precision in digital photography metering that mastery is required. Instead of worrying about this in great detail, just know that in order to get the correct exposure value you may need to apply bracketing to your digital photography images. You can use your manual setting along with the meter to get some images that are a little darker than you would normally have, just for the purpose of this technique.
With multiple exposures it’s not necessary to keep every single photo you take. If you want to give an image more of a certain colour or brightness you can simply bracket accordingly. You can think of this as gaining momentum. You will find that after a while, you look at new eyes towards your digital photography.

So here’s the bottom line. As a beginner you have no idea which camera you need or what features you require beyond the basics. Should you get a compact, a prosumer or an SLR? Should it be an entry level SLR, a semi-pro or a full on professional camera? All these questions can be answered but mostly not when you are buying your first camera.
Here’s the simple answer. The camera you need to buy is the one that is going to allow you to take photos without spending a lot of money. A simple entry level camera that can take photos is the only requirement. You emphasis should be on learning photography.
At this stage of a beginner’s photography journey you are not going to know what you need and what features you require. You are going to learn photography by experimenting and trying out the ideas you may have. Only once you have an understanding of the fundamentals of photography, a knowledge of your particular camera and an idea of what type of photography you like, will you be able to make an informed decision.
You may want to continue just taking snapshots of family occasions and the odd action photo at the kids school. On the other hand you might be so inspired that you want to immediately buy a mid-range DSLR and work towards becoming a professional photographer.
