That would be very interesting Tim. I’m currently revising a 2-hour DVD and I’m intending to serialise it on YouTube, mainly so I’ve got something to upload on a regular basis (for a few weeks at least). But I can’t help still being tempted to upload the whole thing and target a bigger viewcount. Maybe I’ll do that anyway after the serialisation.

We have set plans on uploading weekly, but AP classes and the fact that I live 15miles away from the other guys make it hard. (strange school boundaries) but hopefully our subscribers will forgive us once we release our next two films- one will be good, the other- [CENSORED] EPIC!!!!

Yeah, I hear what you’re saying, but not every video you produce has to be labor intensive. What a lot of the guys do who aren’t full-time YouTubers is create a consistent featured video maybe once every week or two and during the week they just basically record some thoughts in front of a webcam really quick, just something simple to engage with their audience. Maybe something like that could work for ya?

Thanks for the feedback! I see it promoted a lot, as well, along with most of the other things I cover in these videos, but I know a lot of our viewers don’t keep up with that kind of stuff as well, so I try to mention it just for their benefit.

i think i am going to continue to find “regular content” to be the hardest challenge as my style of videos are so labour intensive and time consuming to produce. It will be interesting to see how things evolve with sponsored youtube etc channels, That may be the only avenue for some content producers, and is more how things currently happen in the TV world.
