What is physically going on inside the camera when you are changing the shutter speed during the video mode? The first and second shutters are actually opening and closing 50 fps the whole time you are shooting are they? That would be insane with regards to the number of actuations being done. I can’t seem to find any good explanation on the web for this effect of changing shutter speed during video shooting mode. Also why is it that you set the shutter speed at twice the FPS as a rule?

  7. thanks! but didn’t find anymore tutorials on your facebook =(

It made it easier for Daniel to make photos which leave you with that jaw-dropping-effect when you look at them. Perhaps it will help you out too…

5dmk 3 is a great camera but for weddings you will need to be focusing manually all the time so make sure you are good in that, 5d mk2 is for me a great unique camera, I’m shooting couple features with 2 of them, I do wedding too, sometimes I use a canon xh-a1 (hd camcorder) and sometimes I use 5d mk2, it easy with the camcorder but quality is better in the 5dmk2 a lot better, I use follow focus and a dslr screen and I make sure to use a higher aperture with some help of a higher ISO and If

Hi there, Thank you for your video I have a 5D and thinking to buy a Video camera as I enjoy better capturing weddings on video and till now no so sure wether the 5D would be good enough to do the job (particulary in the Audio area) Also I know there is a new 5D Mark III and I wander if this will be better for Videos. Could you give us an update please as I am thinking now to go this way. Best regards Clem Oliver Queensland, Australia

  29. Yeah no problem, sorry if I offended you

  30. Stlouissnapback says:

Lol i watched this cuz i was bored, i got a Nikon D3000 im just waiting till i can get a new lens for it.

  31. Oh well that’s weird, that lens is more useful for street or portrait photography rather than landscape. I would recommend some wide lenses for landscape (16mm or around 20mm)

  32. Stlouissnapback says:

lol he said it showed on the vid, and he said it so idk

  33. are you crazy? 50mm (on aps-c = 75mm) for landscape??

  47. What kind of camera is used in recording this video? And Im looking at the “Canon Rebel EOS T4i” and the “Sony A-65”. I was told to be careful about sony because lenses arent as universal or whatever, but besides that, which do you think is the better camera??
