I have watched your series up until here and I have to stop and thank you.
I like how you explain the simplest – up to the most complicated concepts with ease and relativity.

Most other tutorials I have watched subscribe to the “Because that’s just how it is” school of teaching. You, however, explain the science, history and basis of these concepts which makes it so much easier to grasp and run with.

So on behalf of me, and the thousands of other who feel the same way, Thank You Imre!
    ~Frosty.

Wow, there’s so much too learn. Recently bought my first DSLR and had no idea how much thinking and control can go into each shot. It’s starting to get a bit overwhelming. I guess that’s the price you pay for wanting better quality.

Don’t think I’ll be dumping my point and shoot any time soon.

    Thanks for your comment!

I sent you a detailed message, but the short version is that you might be in C-AF (continuous auto focus) mode versus S-AF (single auto focus), which would cause your camera to focus in-between shots, even in the high-speed shooting mode.

And I also mentioned using manual focus or overriding the feature that won’t let the camera take a photo unless focus lock is achieved; this too could help speed up your shooting.

Wow your videos are so helpful! I just watched all the series and I’m going to check out your blog right now.

I wish I had discovered these earlier. I have a few Q’s since you’re the only person I’ve yet to find on youtube that uses an Olympus:

How can I set my camera up to take pictures quickly without trying to autofocus and slowing down (i.e. not letting me take a picture for a long time) even when I’m in the mode that allows you to take multiple pictures at once? I have so many Q’s! :(
