After I have edited the small converted AVI clips in movie maker, I save the project and then delete them small converted AVI clips. Then when it asks if I want to find the clips I select the high quality AVI clips and it gives me an error saying the file isnt comparable enough to replace the small converted AVI clip. I need help! Thanks!
Instead of deleting a file you could just remand that file by adding another letter or number to the file name- then your computer wouldn’t recognize the file? Aloha, Kenu Bodyboards

But in Quicktime Pro you can export the file directly to any format you need you can also do minimal editing.

You really need some professional tools man. Get a Macbook Pro plus Final cut or something. Even iMovie would be good

Really? God that sucks. I’m glad I moved to mac. iMovie is much better than WMM. I don’t even use my PC except for when I travel. (My desktop is a Mac while my laptop is a PC.)

stick with PC since you already have one, like you already said, you don’t need to throw money at the situation.
But vegas vs. premier? that’s tough, download the demos and see what works for you. I LOVE the way premier works and functions, etc, but I have the toughest times with it locking up or having probs importing/exporting the correct containers/codecs.
I tried vegas once and found the controls terrible, but lots of people love it too. I’d say Premier is the more “pro” product
