Very good but I have a big problem with it stopping and starting. I have just replaced the equipment frm Verizon for the DSL line??? It runs for about 7seconds and stops for about 9 seconds. Very annoying…
how do you get shutter speed 1/800, 1/1600,..etc? most camera have an average sync speed 1/200

Sir, josh, did you find out how to set the shutter speed more that 200 with the flash gun on? i dont find the option in my d7000 to go beyond 320. thats the max i am getting with the flash gun on. thanks.
Yes sir, I have the same question regarding my d7000. the highest flash sync speed given in my camera is 320, which is written as 1/320 s (Auto FP). Can you please guide me, how did mark wallace set his shutter to those higher speeds with the flash gun on. thanks.

If both cameras were using 0 flash exposure comp, then I would say he was using spot metering on the Nikon and matrix metering on the canon. That would explain why the subject was overexposed with the Nikon. Fill flash only works with matrix metering on. Not sure why he was implying that Nikons don’t have exposure comp and flash exposure comp, because they do.
Yeah, the model’s beautiful, but I came here to check out the flash tutorial. I know almost nothing about flash photography, I got my D7000 this summer and an SB-700 a week ago, yet I still know that this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The first shots were extremely overexposed because the guy set it all wrong. Then he takes out the Canon (fanboy) and all of a sudden, there’s nothing wrong with the shots. If he knew what he was doing, he’d get the same results with the Nikon.

This is a brilliant video tutorial. Just the right amount of information delivered at the right pace so that it can be taken in and absorbed. There are a lot of video tutorials that could learn a lot from something so simple and straightforward. Oh and yes, Jade is absolutely gorgeous!
