This is a great series. I started my journey as a photographer when I was hired by a company to do portraits. I really loved it, and I want to branch out onto my own to have some more control over my sets and my style as a photographer. Thank you so much for all these videos! It’s really helping me learn more about this art.

Very nice & cool way of teaching. Thanks a million for being so generous
i would go with sb900’s
Both types are available.
Do the head and pack things have to be plug up to the wall or can you just take those outside and shoot?
I’m looking to open a home photo studio next year. My main question thus far is do I need something like a Nikon SB600 Speedlight in order to take decent portraits? Or will the lights I’ll be using – two 650 watt lights with barndoors – be enough. Thanks in advance to any responses.
What a generous guy, great advice!
