can we use that for hdr and/or long exposure shoot?
@JaredPolin
just bought it (35mm 1.8G) yesterday. thanks for taking my doubt away! 😀
to other amateurs: read ken rockwell’s website. it’s very informative, well-written and funny.
hello Jared, i have this camera, but now i want to go professional, what camera should i get.
thank you mate… really was useful
@JaredPolin Does that lens have a version with VR?
would you say this is the “best” entry level camera up to date? I want a beginner dslr camera that takes good pictures & will last me a while before updating. Is this the one?
can i set it on a multiple shots at the same time in a timer mode?
beep beep beeep beeep beeep..u are so nice..keep it up!
God I want it so bad lol
Gimme your hair XD
WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF YOUR SHIRTS?! 😀
y en español no tenes alguno?? te entiendo pero no todo =)
Feliz Dia de Reyes…
@CBKScousins If you want a natural fisheye, yes, such as the 10.5mm for Nikon. However, I think you can get an extension or something off of eBay that gives you the effect of a fish eye lens on your standard kit lens. Or you can always edit it in Photoshop
Nice video. I’ve had the D3100 for over a year now (having bought 3 lenses in addition to the kit lens, and have borrowed some more lenses from my dad), and I’m very happy with it. Sometimes it feels like a more advanced model (D7000?) would be cool to have, but so far (at least for me) it’s more about _what you are taking photos of_ that matters. That in turn indicates what lenses you need to have. From my very limited experience: mostly any new DSLR will be good enough for most people’s need.
@JaredPolin What about the 50 1.8?
do you need a different Lenz for fisheye?
@MsJoelea Oops, I put 1.5G, I meant the 1.4G
Hey, so I have this camera and am thinking about saving up for a really nice lens. I would love to have the 85mm 1.5G. So my question is… is it worth saving up that much money for a really nice lens just to put it on the Nikon D3100. I know it’s more about the glass then the body, but I just wanted your input. I am not a pro, but people do pay me to have their pictures done. I said that because this lens is used mainly by professionals.
I just got mine for Christmas and I only know what anything does because I’ve been watching these videos for months
just got this for christmas. love it soo much.
you look like the lead singer of LMFAO and that’s a complement
I would be way to lazy to make this video. lol.
……You need common sence for this.
Thank you so much Jared for your kwowledge, I am a beginner and your video’s are very helpful.
