@normjphotography Well, I have a Sony Cyber shot. 10 megapixels… But I dont think it will work? Since you need to have a certain shutter speed. And I cant alter the shutter speed on this camera :/
@lei0125 Just use a different color light. I like to use glow sticks or multi-colored LEDs

If you have a the ability to shoot in Full Manual Mode you will be able to do this on any camera out there.
@joshuawnr On an SLR camera you can either keep the shutter open in bulb mode by using a remote release cable or by keeping the shutter depressed (on some SLR models)

You Can make these pictures on a compact camera – as long as it can shoot in manual mode and you can change the shutter speed.
@iSypha It depends on which point and shoot you have. For this to work well you have to have the ability to manually control all of the cameras functions. Most point and shoots do not allow for this level of control. However, there are a few out there that do….(so basically check the manual, lol) Thanks for watching.

@jkharese08 Before. But you just “click” once. Just set your shutter speed to a slower setting (like 1 sec or more) and write to your hearts content.

@gheligrace19 – It just depends on which digital camera you’re using…. By “digital camera” do you mean a point-and-shoot?

i was able to find the set speed for it i haven’t tried it but it does work thanks for the info though
@HowsTheHonda – I don’t believe that the Nikon L110 has the ability to manually set the shutter speed, aperture, etc….but don’t quote me on that 😉 If the L110 does not have the ability to set primary functions manually then no you won’t really be able to light paint as depicted in the video.
@reesescup09 – I used a Nikon D5000.
