Is the 1/4″ allthread BSW? I’ve heard UNC can do the job but if you’re not careful it can wreck the thread, since the teeth are cut with 5 degrees difference.

thanks mate, for a Friday night knock up I was pretty happy with how it turned out. All shot and edited (and presented!) by me, so no motion shots makes it a bit flat, but other than that fairly happy..
in fisheye mode you might, so use narrower field of view, or adjust mounting point slightly
just wrapped electrical tape tightly around the foam tube

I did one multi-steady cam like this for a video installation project, in the 2005, did work pretty well at that time, it’s very flexible material and aloud yo to follow your body. I used 4 camera at the same time and have been hard to edit..
